Emergency Prep & Outdoor Survival
Anything that burns carbon-based fuel, like an OHV or cooking stove can cause carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning, particularly in enclosed areas. Watch out for flu-like symptoms, including dizziness, headaches, nausea, exhaustion and in bad cases, unconsciousness. CO is not to be taken lightly—it’s an invisible predator and a quick killer. If you think someone is experiencing these symptoms, remove them from the source of CO and get them into fresh air.
