USING YOUR LOCAL WEATHER AND WATER REPORTS

Turn on your T.V., listen to the radio, or go online to find the latest local weather reports and avoid paddling in bad weather conditions. Check the forecast the good, old-fashioned way too—go outside and take a good look at the sky and the water!

Official weather reports for boaters are provided through the NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration). You can listen to the NOAA’s weather updates on the following radio stations:

  • WX1 (162.550 MHz)
  • WX2 (162.400 MHz)
  • WX3 (162.475 MHz)
