STOP SIGN

This one’s obvious – stop when you encounter this sign.

YIELD SIGN

When you see this sign you’re required to slow down at the upcoming intersection and if necessary, come to a complete stop to yield to other traffic.

DO NOT ENTER SIGN

This sign indicates that all vehicles are prohibited from entering a certain area, or from going beyond a certain point.

NO SNOWMOBILE SIGN

This sign will appear as a sled with a red circle around it and a red slash through it. It means sleds are not permitted in the area and you must stay out.

SPEED LIMIT SIGN

These signs indicate that the rider must not operate at a faster speed than the posted limit.

ONE WAY

This sign indicates that travel is only allowed in one direction (the direction in which the arrow is pointing). 

TWO-WAY TRAFFIC SIGNS

This sign indicates to riders that there may be oncoming traffic.

STAY ON TRAIL 

These signs are placed in areas such as wildlife areas or on private property. They indicate to riders to stay on the designated tail.

TRAIL MARKERS: 

These signs indicate an area where OHV operation is allowed. 

TRAIL BLAZER

This sign is shaped like an irregular diamond and identifies an OHV trail or corridor.

DIRECTIONAL ARROW

This marker informs riders that the trail ahead makes significant directional changes.

CHEVRON

This sign uses an arrow to let you know about an abrupt or sharp turn on the trail.

ROUTE SIGN

This sign indicates to riders that the road or highway has been designated for snowmobiles.

HAZARD MARKERS

These signs indicate that there are fixed objects or obstructions on the trail ahead and that you should advance cautiously and take action to avoid marked hazards.

CAUTION SIGNS

Caution signs indicate that the rider should slow down, or are used to advise riders of specific trail conditions.

ARROW SIGNS

These signs are used to indicate to riders the direction they should proceed when they're operating on roads or highways. They're located at points where the rider would leave the trail.
