CHECK IT YOURSELF: DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER
Follow these steps to properly safety check your double action revolver:
STEP 1: Assume the revolver is loaded.
STEP 2: Activate the safety mechanism and point the revolver in a safe direction.
STEP 3: Open the action by pressing the action release.
STEP 4: Visually check the chamber(s) and cylinder for ammunition.
STEP 5: Grasp the revolver with both hands and point the muzzle in a safe direction.
