MARKSMANSHIP
Marksmanship is the skill of shooting a firearm with accuracy and confidence. This is something that few (if any) hunters ace right off the bat—it can take a lifetime before you can truly call yourself a master marksman. But practice will help get you there. For starters, you need to know:
Where your safe zone of fire is.
The safe zones of fire for the other hunters in your group.
What it means to be an ethical shooter.
Your bullet’s trajectory (i.e. where it will travel and how far it will go).
Your effective shooting range.
How to use a sight.
