HOW TO BRAKE SMOOTHLY & SAFELY

  • Look well ahead and behind you. Is it safe to stop here?
  • Fully release the throttle before applying the brake.
  • Avoid braking heavily, especially when you’re changing direction or cornering, as the machine can become unbalanced.
  • Use the brakes lightly on icy terrain - slamming on the brakes can cause your sled to spin out of control.
