LOADING YOUR BOW
Fitting an arrow onto a string is a little different than filling a cartridge full of bullets. When loading a bow, it’s all about mastering the ‘nock n’ draw’.
THE ‘NOCK AND DRAW’
Hold the bow about waist-high and parallel to the ground with the string towards your body. Then, place the arrow nock on the string at the nocking point and draw the arrow towards the string until the string sort of ‘snaps’ into the nock. Draw back until you reach your anchor point. Use your kisser, or bring your nose or cheekbone down to the string—whatever anchor point works for you on a consistent basis.
