HEAT RELATED ILLNESS

Overexposure to hot temperatures and humidity cause heat-related illnesses, like heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If left untreated, heat exhaustion can progress to the more dangerous heat stroke, which can damage your vital organs and cause a stroke! So, stay cool.

Heat Exhaustion Symptoms

Haven’t peed all day? Be careful, that probably means you’re dehydrated. Look out for any of these symptoms if you’re hunting in hot, dry or humid weather:

  • Dark-colored or NO urine
  • Dizziness
  • Fainting
  • Exhaustion
  • Headache
  • Muscle cramping
  • Nausea
  • Pale skin
  • Confusion
  • Profuse sweating
  • Rapid heartbeat
